Base Salary Range - $120,000 - $145,000 per year plus benefits + $5K Sign On Bonus + Relocation
How you'll contribute
The Director of Cardiovascular Services (DCS) provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the Cardiovascular Service Line at Raleigh General Hospital. This role is accountable for designing and implementing innovative programs, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care across the continuum. The DCS will collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to elevate clinical performance and patient experience..
- Serve as the accountable leader for all aspects of Cardiovascular Services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive strategic plan for the service line (ambulatory, acute, post-acute, and community care).
- Drive continuous improvement in outcomes, cost of care, and patient satisfaction.
- Lead the design and evaluation of new programs and innovations to improve quality and efficiency.
- Partner with quality leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance toward becoming a highly reliable organization.
- Collaborate with other service line leaders, facility leadership, and system executives to provide consistent, patient-centered care.
- Support provider and staff recruitment, retention, and engagement.
- Ensure financial performance of the Cardiovascular Service Line.
- Demonstrate Raleigh General Hospital's values through inspirational leadership and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.
- Collaboration : Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership to enhance care coordination, patient experience, and service delivery.
- Other Duties : Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Recruits, mentors, and develops perioperative nursing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Oversees ongoing staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.
