Software Test Engineer

Location : Longmont, CO, some work in Boulder, CO

Clearance required : Top Secret, SCI eligible

W2 / USC

Position Details

• Title : Integration & Verification Engineer
• Period of Performance : approx. 4 months, ending 12 / 23 / 2025
• Labor Grade : E3 or E4 level
• Security Clearance : Active TS / SCI
• Work location : Primarily Longmont with some work at Boulder on occasion
• Schedule : The NGG program is now on a 9 / 80 schedule
• Residency : Must currently live in the Boulder / Longmont or surrounding area, as the program needs the worker to start ASAP and will be required to work fully on-site.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to test planning, writing test objectives and scenarios, test procedures, performing integration, verification, and validation activities. Working as part of a technical team of software and integration engineers who design, code, integrate, test and deploy complex systems to the customer. Contributions to detailed design, coding new content and bug fixes, contributing to unit testing, automating unit testing where possible, and contributing to integration testing as needed. Software integration projects will vary from satellite command and control software, to satellite payload sensor management software, to mission specific software, to ground hardware & network control software.
