The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily cleaning operations of the hotel, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to Room Attendants and train employees in housekeeping duties; and will perform those duties in their absence duties.
• Perform vacant room checks daily
• Assign housekeeping daily room charts
• Maintain deep cleaning schedules
• Assign special cleaning projects.
• Assure housekeepers are taking meal breaks
• Perform daily room inspections
• Utilize guests' complaints regarding housekeeping standards and address with staff.
• Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements.
• Examine carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
• Conduct inventory for linens and supplies weekly
• Aid in budget control through supervision of employees' use of linen, supplies and equipment.
• Record inspection results and notify housekeeping staff of inadequacies.
• Communicate with other hotel departments regarding problems which need their attention.
• Ensure key control policies.
• Maintain lost and found; 36-60-90 day.
• Assign work to Houseperson and train associates in houseperson duties; and will perform those duties in their absence
• Assign special projects around the hotel for houseperson
• Maintain a cleaning schedule for the outside of the property
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Maintain personal hygiene
• Other duties as assigned by the leader

Pay Range

$21.50—$24 USD
