Fulfillment Warehouse Facility Manager Sunnyvale, TX
We are hiring a Facility Manager to oversee our Sunnyvale, TX, fulfillment center. We are rapidly growing this high-turn omnichannel fulfillment center and are seeking a leader with operational experience who will combine skill in process and systems with hands-on coaching and enthusiasm for taking on big challenges. This full-time salaried position is located on-site at our Sunnyvale, TX location, and will report to the Director of Operations for this facility.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Oversee daily fulfillment center operations, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
- Continuously analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order and inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, and dock-to-stock time. Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Develop a team of leaders and high performers.
- Actively monitor and optimize KPIs and financial performance.
- Leverage data analytics and automation tools to optimize workflows and decision-making processes.
- Actively monitor and manage operating budget, including expenses for labor, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and problem-solving to enhance operational efficiency.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, responsive to email and phone calls.Willingness to learn and be innovative to explore new strategies.Ability to work weekends when needed this operation is 7-days / week.Skilled and trained in continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques.In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management principles, and distribution operations.Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement data-backed solutions.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., OSHA).Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of fulfillment operations.A highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for achieving ambitious goals.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Minimum of four years of experience working in warehouse operations or related fields.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding and answering phone calls.Ability to communicate via the telephone using speaking and hearing skills.COMPENSATION :
