Overview

Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer – Energy Systems

We are seeking an experienced engineer to design, integrate, and validate advanced hardware for next-generation energy control products, with a focus on digital design, PCB development, and power conversion.

Base pay range

$130,000.00 / yr - $200,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

Design and optimize digital, embedded, and power conversion hardware for energy systems.
Own specification, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and debugging.
Develop and integrate high-speed digital, communication, sensing, and power protection subsystems.
Validate designs through hands-on testing and troubleshooting of electronics and assemblies.

Qualifications

BS / MS / PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.

5+ years in electronics design, with strong digital and PCB experience.

Expertise in power conversion circuits (AC / DC, DC / DC, inverter).

Skilled in schematic capture (e.g., OrCAD) and PCB layout tools (e.g., Allegro).

Proficient in lab testing and debugging complex systems.

Strong ownership and execution skills.
