Roles and Responsibilities :
Prepare, file, and serve pleadings in NY, NJ, and other federal bankruptcy courts; track deadlines and court requirements.
Draft proofs of claim, retention and fee applications, and support claims reconciliation.
Manage case calendars, organize complex Chapter 11 files, and monitor court dockets.
Coordinate hearing logistics, support hearings / trials, and liaise with clients, creditors, and courts.
Conduct market research, fact-checking, and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree; Paralegal certificate a plus.
Minimum 6 years substantive bankruptcy experience in a law firm or legal services.
Proficient in CM / ECF electronic filings and federal court procedures.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to handle confidential info with discretion.
Compensation & Benefits :
Salary range : $90,000 - $130,000 (NY-based).
