Job Summary :

Austin Heart would like to recruit a NP or PA to join a busy lipid and cardiovascular disease prevention clinic in Central Texas at our Northwest Austin location.

Qualified Candidates :

• Board certified NP , CNS, or PA
• Working with one general cardiologist
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Call : 12 weekends a year
• Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Primarily office based position with weekend rounding when on call
• Start date : ASAP
• Licensed in the state of Texas
• The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction / supervision of the supervising cardiologist
• The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills
