Job Summary : Are you passionate about technology and helping others? Join our dynamic IT team as a Technical Support Specialist! In this pivotal role, you will facilitate seamless desktop, network, and application support to enhance operational efficiency. We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service. You will primarily work at Zoltek's manufacturing facilities in St. Peters, MO, with Fridays allocated at our corporate headquarters in Bridgeton, MO.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary point of contact for end-user support through phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, network printers, office Teams Phones, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and Azure Entra.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications using PDQ Connect and Microsoft Intune.
- Monitor and manage IT assets and inventory, while continually improving our knowledge base documentation.
- Escalate complex issues to specialized IT teams and ensure follow-up until resolution.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and account provisioning.
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely support request resolutions across US locations.
- Provide remote assistance using tools like Anydesk, Microsoft RDP, and Royal TS.
- Engage in IT projects and initiatives as directed.
- Ensure PC security and encryption using Microsoft Defender and BitLocker.
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in helpdesk or desktop support roles.Associate's degree in computer science required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft M365 (Azure, Entra, Defender), and basic networking concepts.Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira.Strong problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Open to innovative technologies and techniques for effective problem-solving.Preferred Skills :
Experience with SCCM, Intune, or other endpoint management tools.Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, and basic cybersecurity practices.IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.Work Environment :
Office EnvironmentManufacturing environment with potential noise, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles.Physical Demands :
