We’re seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide advanced, compassionate care to newborns across a dynamic and integrated network of Level III and Level IV NICUs. About the Role
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will serve a defined patient population, functioning as an expert clinician, educator, consultant, care coordinator, and advocate. Your care will be delivered under the medical model in collaboration with CCS-paneled neonatologists, following established protocols, laws, and policies.
This full-scope role primarily supports the Level III NICU at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno, with opportunities to rotate through:
Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) operates a Level III NICU and is part of the largest perinatal program in California’s Central Valley. The unit supports more than 2,300 infant admissions and 24,000 patient days annually. Nurse staffing ratios are maintained at 1:1 or 2:1 for intensive care and 1:3 for intermediate care, ensuring high-quality attention to each patient. Valley Children’s Hospital is home to the only Regional Level IV NICU in Central California, providing specialized care for more than 1,400 critically ill and premature newborns each year. The NICU network delivers approximately 25,000 patient days annually and is supported by a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team. In addition to its main facility, the hospital also supports satellite Level II and Level III NICUs in Merced, Hanford, and Fresno, ensuring regional access to high-level neonatal care. Why join us?
