Job Summary :
The GDC Technical Support Analyst provides high-quality technical support and administration for the Google Chrome Management Console and Google Workspace across educational and correctional environments. This role ensures secure, seamless operation of Chrome devices, user profiles, and applications while supporting educators and staff in a hybrid work setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and administer the Google Chrome Management Console for all GDC / GCI devices and users, including Gmail, Calendar, Groups, and shared mailboxes.
Monitor and report on usage, storage, and security metrics using Admin Console data.
Configure, deploy, and update Chromebooks, extensions, and educational apps .
Enforce device and user policies, such as content filters, sign-in restrictions, and security settings.
Provide Tier 1–2 support to teachers and staff for Chrome OS and Google Workspace for Education.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Collaborate with instructional technology teams to maintain compatibility with digital learning tools.
Maintain accurate inventory records for Chrome devices and peripherals.
Create and maintain user guides, troubleshooting documentation, and system records.
Analyze support trends to improve device management and user experience.
Monitor system performance, updates, and security compliance within the Chrome environment.
Required Experience :
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of IT support or systems administration experience, preferably in an educational setting.
Hands-on experience managing Google Workspace and Chrome OS devices.
Nice-to-Have Experience :
Experience with large-scale Chromebook deployments.
Familiarity with content filtering tools and compliance reporting.
Google Certified IT Support Professional or Administrator certification.
Required Skills :

Technical support and troubleshooting

Apple / Mac support experience
Network connectivity and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
Device imaging and remote management tools
Documentation and organizational skills

Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS)
Policy configuration and device compliance management
Working Conditions :
Standard office and hybrid work environment
Travel required within Georgia (to correctional and state facilities)
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
Work in secure facilities with escorts as needed
