Hse Manager

The Hse Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing all aspects of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards (OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, etc.). This role provides leadership in hazard mitigation, incident prevention, and training while reporting directly to the Hse Program Manager. Strong leadership, strategic problem-solving, and effective communication skills are critical for success in this role.

Roles And Responsibilities

Safety Program Implementation & Compliance

• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs at the job site.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client safety requirements, and site-specific policies.
• Conduct routine site audits and inspections to identify hazards and verify compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and field supervisors to proactively address safety concerns.
• Serve as a liaison between the owner and other trades onsite to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain thorough documentation of safety compliance efforts, audit results, and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain a safety compliance schedule for audits, inspections, and training sessions.
• Ensure all safety-related permits and approvals are obtained and maintained.
• Implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and maintain project compliance.
• Use performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance site safety performance.
• Regularly review and refine safety policies based on lessons learned and industry best practices.
