About The Position

Shift : Monday to Friday (varied shifts)

Hours per Shift : Approximately 8-12 hours

Experience : Minimum 3 years

License : Active Medical Assistant License or Certification

Certifications : BLS, RMA, CMA

Must-Have :

Direct patient care experience, including rooming patients and taking vitals.

Ability to obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform medication reconciliation.

Experience administering vaccines, injections, and medications.

Proficiency in point-of-care testing and use of EMR systems (EPIC preferred).

Description :

The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care support in an internal medicine clinical setting.

Responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for examination.

Performing vital signs measurement and documenting medical histories accurately.

Administering vaccines, medications, and injections as prescribed by the provider.

Conducting point-of-care testing and maintaining accurate patient records.

Assisting providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.

Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and administrative staff to deliver quality patient care.

Following infection control and safety protocols in all clinical tasks.

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are required.

Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to patient-centered service.

Blue scrubs are required as part of the dress code.
