Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Billing & Certified Coding Specialist I (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Reviews and interprets third-party payments, adjustments, and coding denials for professional services

Monitors accounts receivable and resolves claims issues through communication with third-party payors

Maintains coding certification and stays updated on coding guidelines and regulations

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training for a recognized Coding Certificate

Certification as a CP, CPC-A, or CCS-P is required

1-2 years of experience in billing, coding, or denial management

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Good organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
