Production & Completions Engineer - Contract

Job Description

CSI Recruiting is working with a Houston-based, publicly-traded E&P firm on their need for an experienced production operations engineer to work in their downtown Houston headquarters office. The client has both onshore and offshore assets and works both domestically and internationally.

The role will involve :

Production operations : Drilling and completions, refrac and EOR, Production design. With experience in both onshore and offshore

Appraisal and planning : Geologic model translation, depletion maps, frac strategy

Drilling engineering & execution : Wellbore placement accuracy, Torque / drag & mechanical limits, Fluids engineering (rheology tuning, inhibition, lost-circulation material)

Completions : Stimulation design(fluid systems, proppant selection), Pressure diagnostics, Interference management, frac-hit mitigation, depletion mapping

Requirements

Seeking candidates with 3-7 years of in-house upstream petroleum engineering experience with an emphasis on production operations and completions. Drilling experience is a plus.

Must have a BS in Petroleum Engineering and be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
