As a CT Technologist, your responsibilities will include :

  • Conducting CT scans and X-rays according to industry standards to assist in diagnostics.
  • Performing Computed Tomography procedures to create cross-sectional images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
  • Providing exceptional patient care and recognizing conditions that are vital for successful procedures.
  • Verifying orders and following protocols for examinations.
  • Administering contrast materials correctly and entering accurate charges for services rendered.
  • Correlating clinical histories with procedures and ensuring proper documentation for radiologists.
  • Managing patient flow to prioritize and complete exams efficiently.
  • Qualifications :

  • 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Valid Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification in accordance with Texas Medical Board (TMB) regulations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Certification in Radiology (ARRT(R)) is necessary.
  • CT Certification (ARRT(CT)) needed within 6 months of assignment.
