JOB TITLE : National Account Manager C & P

DEPARTMENT / DIVISION : Sales

REPORTS TO : Vice President Sales, C & P

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

Ideal candidate would live in the Florida / Southeast US area

Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. Work with buying and sales teams to increase sales and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage Ready-to-Drink (RTD) tea and take home business; set and monitor sales targets.
  • Manage multi-million case C & P customers.
  • Work in tandem with field personnel; create assortment, pricing, promotional strategies, etc.
  • Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
  • Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring client’s requirements are met.
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.
  • Ensure brand consistency.
  • Collect and analyze sales data and trends.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.
  • Liaise with sales and marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products.
  • Stay up-to-date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :

  • 7+ years experience in beverage sales (alcohol sales a plus)
  • Demonstrate ability and experience in Manager, National and Regional C&P Chains
  • Experience with market retailers (Bucees, Circle K, Timewise, Cefco, Circle K Texas, Allsups)
  • Knowledge of Beverage IRI and VIP experience necessary
  • Experience in forecasting, sales planning and financial reporting
  • Ability to travel within a region
  • Proven successes in delivering sales goals and objectives
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships with distributors and accounts
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, time management and presentation skills required
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client’s requirements
  • In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
  • MBA a plus
