Assistant Manager

The Arc of Bergen and Passaic Counties is the premier not-for profit of families, self advocates and community members dedicated to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

We are seeking an Assistant Manager for our after school recreation program for adolescents with autism. Provide assistance and support to Manager as needed, and in the absence of Manager, including but not limited to on site supervision of staff, day to day operation of activities, insuring participant safety and encouraging engagement in programming.

High School diploma, bachelor's degree preferred, valid NJ driver's license, experience working with individuals with autism required. Dependable, responsible, good communication skills with individuals served and co-workers.

Hours are Monday-Thursday from 3pm-6 : 30pm and Saturday 10am-2pm with flexibility. Friday afternoon will be available soon.

We are also seeking program aides, experience with individuals with autism preferred. Ensure the safety of each participant, assist children to participate fully in program activities.
