On Call Facilities Dispatcher
Multnomah County's Facilities and Property Management (FPM) is seeking an On Call Facilities Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatch Unit is a 24 / 7 / 365 operation.
In addition to the hourly rate of pay, On-Call employees will receive a differential of $1.50 in lieu of benefits and be paid at time-and-a-half rate for all hours worked on New Year's Day, MLK Holiday, Juneteenth Holiday, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Applicants must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. You may be scheduled in advance or on short notice, similar to substitute teaching. The number of hours you work will vary and shifts may be continuous.
As a Dispatcher you will :
Operationally Essential Position : Employees who have been designated as operationally essential ("Essential") are required to report for duty regardless of facility closure or curtailment of some or all County operations.
