As a Fitness Instructor for our Leisure Centres, youll be helping people achieve their health and wellbeing goals and delivering fitness programmes for all ages and abilities across our diverse community.

With our Leisure Centres more popular and busier than ever, our fitness teams play a vital part in ensuring that visitors are kept motivated, interested and eager to return again.

Joining a proactive and dynamic team, youll be a keen team player with a flexible approach. Youll be comfortable to ask questions and build your knowledge to be able to use your initiative to provide innovative and appropriate fitness solutions.

With impeccable time management skills, youll be confident with administrative tasks and processes.

A recognised fitness related qualification is required and knowledge of fitness training, including fitness testing and monitoring of clients, is advantageous, as is holding a current REPs 'Exercise Consultant Level 2' Certificate and First Aid Certificate.

If you are close to attaining your REPS certificate and have all the practical work completed, we can help you.

And as you will be a Leisure Centre employee, you will enjoy free use of the facilities.

We have a variety of full time permanent (40 hours) and many part time (differing shifts) permanent roles available.

Our shifts are rostered across Monday to Sunday, both early morning and evening shifts.

We also encourage skillset development and as such you have the opportunity to add to your hours (if you are part time) by taking on other roles within the centre such as Recreation Assistants, Lifeguards and Customer Service Reps (please note you will need to work towards being qualified for the Lifeguard position)
