DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will work independently as well as assist others to complete small or large projects. You will be responsible for the design, subsequent construction, and finishing of a variety of custom furniture, cabinets, display cases, product shelving, and related items for use in stores or in various offices throughout the agency. Work involves revising rough sketches, providing input into material choices, building prototypes, as well as maintaining equipment and tools to ensure operational safety. Additional responsibilities include :
- Participating in house cleaning duties in the shop and common areas
- Assisting with regional maintenance activities
- Responding to emergency situations
- Providing feedback to other craftsmen

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFour years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Special Requirements :
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Other Requirements :
