Position Summary
In this role, the individual will perform advanced (senior-level) contract administration and contract development work supporting the mission critical functions of the agencys cooperative procurement program. Opportunities include work on coordinating procurements for large scope, and / or multi-award contracts by defining requirements and developing, negotiating, and awarding contracts. This role will document and implement process improvements, and work to develop guidelines, policies, and procedures. Duties will also include prioritization of work streams and setting standards for achieving procurement goals. Additionally, this role ensures compliance with current purchasing policies and regulations and ensures state procurement procedures are followed. This is an opportunity to work under the limited supervision of the Cooperative Procurement Director with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
