Manager, Commercial Auto Claims

Our Commercial Claims department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate these WCF Insurance values to join their team as a Manager Commercial Auto Claims. This is a full-time exempt hybrid position that works out of WCFs Sandy Utah headquarters. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside of Utah.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all commercial auto claims ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Provide technical guidance on complex and high-exposure auto claims.
• Supervise daily operations of the Auto Claims team including adjusters and associates ensuring productivity and quality standards.
• Develop and refine claims handling processes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency while maintaining training programs that support career progression into adjuster roles.
• Monitor team performance; provide regular feedback coaching and career development opportunities.
• Oversee handling of low-complexity claims and provide technical guidance on complex and high-exposure auto claims.
• Track and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement in claims outcomes.
• Oversee litigation strategy and settlement negotiations for auto claims.
• Lead special projects and initiatives to enhance workflow processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have :

WCF Insurance offers an extensive compensation package. Benefits include Medical Dental and Vision insurance company paid life insurance 401K with a generous 6% employer match and additional benefits such as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and time off to volunteer in the local community. All employees earn 4 weeks of vacation in their first year. Expected salary for this position is $100000 - $125000 depending on experience and education .

An internal candidate should have six months in their current position acceptable job performance and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
