Roles and Responsibilities :
- Prepare, file, and serve pleadings in NY, NJ, and other federal bankruptcy courts; track deadlines and court requirements.
- Draft proofs of claim, retention and fee applications, and support claims reconciliation.
- Manage case calendars, organize complex Chapter 11 files, and monitor court dockets.
- Coordinate hearing logistics, support hearings / trials, and liaise with clients, creditors, and courts.
- Conduct market research, fact-checking, and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree; Paralegal certificate a plus.Minimum 6 years substantive bankruptcy experience in a law firm or legal services.Proficient in CM / ECF electronic filings and federal court procedures.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to handle confidential info with discretion.Compensation & Benefits :
