Job descriptionProvide customer service to individuals at the transportation location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or irregularities to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives according to site protocols. Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as necessary to address incidents or emergencies on the premises. Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift according to Allied Universal and client requirements. Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Unarmed Transportation Patrol
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Transportation Patrol in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
