Cardiovascular Technologist (Sacramento)

Requirements :

• One (1) year hospital patient care as a Cardiovascular Technician
• BLS

Preferred :

• Rad Tech with current x-ray and fluro license
• ACLS
• Knowledge of basic cardiac rhythms, 12 lead ECG interpretation and cardiac hemodynamic
• Registry eligible as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) ACLS certification with 12 months of hire.

The incumbent is a member of the health care team who is accountable for providing technical, and / or supportive services during diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures under the direct supervision of the Cath Lab Clinical Coordinator. May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles or syringes from storage locations, (such as large stock supplies, automated dispensing units and other carts) to / within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy / procedure.
