Job description

Restorative Aide Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
  • Monitor and record patients' progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Prepare and clean therapy equipment and treatment areas.
  • Support patients in performing daily tasks to restore independence.
  • Transport patients to various therapy sessions within the facility.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their recovery journey.

Restorative Aide Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in rehabilitation or therapy settings.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic patient care techniques.
  • Familiarity with patient care documentation processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a nursing assistant or related certification program.
  • Ability to lift and transport patients safely.
  • Basic knowledge of restorative techniques and equipment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
