POSITION SUMMARY : Job Summary

Join our skilled team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll provide multi-skilled maintenance and electrical support, ensuring exceptional customer service, quality, and productivity in a TPM and CI environment. POSITION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Inspect gears and gear units for lubrication problems and bearing failure

Understand types and function of gears, the components and characteristics of gearbox setups, problems with gears and gear boxes, and gearbox overhaul.

Understand types of shaft misalignment, conditions affecting alignment, measurements and measuring tools for realignment, and methods used for shaft alignment including reverse dial, laser and rim and face

Understand types of gaskets and packing, packing glands, and installation of gaskets and packing

Understand basic functions of production CNC machining equipment

Use necessary hand and power tools to take appropriate action to replace components, make adjustments and recalibrate machinery to resolve issues and restore equipment to operating condition

Check and adjust end play, backlash, shaft runout and tooth contact in gearboxes

Disassemble and reassemble gearboxes

Understand the parts, function, maintenance and troubleshooting of typical motors

Remove mechanical seals from pumps, examine damaged mechanical seals and install various types of mechanical seals.
