Job descriptionMonitor and control access to the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and / or vehicles. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any security-related concerns. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to inquiries from employees, visitors, and contractors. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location. Assist with emergency response activities as directed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed. Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or violations of site policies to the appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, access control transactions, and any security-related observations. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Chemical Access Patrol
As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Patrol in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
