Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated bilingual Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office / clinic. The position supports both providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. This role will report to our Clinic Supervisor and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.

What You'll Do
Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a providerFront office administrative duties, including checking in / out patients, scheduling appointments and maintaining medical recordsBack office clinical duties, including preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipmentEscort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chartAdminister vaccinationsRecords patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical filesMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environmentProfessional verbal and written communication skillsBe able to prioritize workload while remaining flexibleMay be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlinesAd hoc duties as assigned by Clinical SupervisorQualifications
2+ years experience as a Medical AssistantBilingual in Mandarin and / or CantoneseDisplay knowledge of medical terminologyPossess excellent customer service skillsMaintain a high level of professionalismProficient in MS Office and patient management softwarePrevious experience in phlebotomy or laboratory work preferredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant programEnvironmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
Our organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a daily basis, Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm. The clinic is located at 1518 Noriega St, San Francisco, CA 94122.The base pay range for this role is $23 - $25 per hour.
