Our client, a full-service, national law firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced Trial Support Specialist, to join our winning team in Philadelphia. Our candidate of choice will have experience working with litigation attorneys, paralegals, and vendors on matters involving electronic discovery, evidence management, and trial support. You will provide hands-on support during trials and related proceedings, including travel to various case locations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Assist case teams with trial preparation and support, including setting up war rooms, managing technology, and presenting documents for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials Sit in the hot seat and present documents in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials Travel to / from proceedings to provide trial support Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff to develop and track plans and budgets, coordinate logistics, provide training and support, and collaborate with internal and external team members before, during, and after proceedings Create demonstratives, opening / closing presentations, timelines, video clips, and other physical or digital evidence for legal proceedings Assist with creation of electronic exhibits and marking digital exhibit numbers on documents Review weekly trial reports and proactively coordinate with paralegals and attorneys for upcoming trials Manage trial equipment and software, including procurement, configuration, deployment, logging, licensing, and maintenance Manage creation, logging, and storage of physical media, including Chain of Custody documentation Document trial-related information in project management software or other documentation systems Work with IT Department on trial support laptops and other equipment / software Manage trial support preferred vendor program and identify new vendors to meet evolving needs Identify and escalate issues and risks to department leadership as appropriate Ensure timely delivery of work products within quality standards Develop and implement new trial support solutions, workflows, and procedures Build and foster strong relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients Enter time for billable and non-billable tasks daily KEY REQUIREMENTS : Minimum 5 years of combined experience in eDiscovery or trial support Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent Ability to work flexible hours and remotely as needed Ability to travel to all offices and trial locations Ability to perform light lifting, including moving boxes and equipment Expert experience with OnCue, TrialDirector, TrialPad, or other presentation technology Expert experience in Microsoft Office Expert experience setting up and breaking down war rooms / technical set-ups Experience in Opus 2 or equivalent case management software Experience in Relativity or equivalent document review software WE OFFER : Medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible spending accounts (FSA) Health savings account (HSA) Tuition reimbursement Generous paid time off 401(k) retirement savings plan Competitive salaries and year-end discretionary bonuses Paid leave options, including parental Learning and development programs taught by the firm’s training department Family formation benefits Please apply today to be immediately considered for the role!
