We’re rapidly expanding and are now bringing our signature blend of fashion, design, and function to the United States. Our very first flagship store will open in New York City in October 2025 , and we’re looking for a Licensed Optician to lead the team and take charge of our operations in this exciting new market.

The Role :

As Flagship / Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the NYC flagship store. You will manage all aspects of the business, from leading a team of sales associates and licensed opticians to ensuring exceptional customer service, while maintaining high standards of optical care.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to grow the store and support the expansion of Jimmy Fairly in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities :

Store Operations : Oversee the daily operations of the flagship store, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership : Lead, inspire, and manage a team of sales associates and opticians, ensuring high performance and strong team culture.

Customer Experience : Ensure every customer receives top-tier service, from styling to optical care and eyewear prescriptions.

Growth & Strategy : Support the growth of the brand and team, sharing insights and feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Compliance & Standards : Maintain compliance with all local regulations regarding optical care, eyewear prescriptions, and optometric services.

What We’re Looking For :

• A current New York State Licensed Optician (required).

Proven experience in retail management, ideally with a background in optical services.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate teams.

A passion for eyewear, fashion, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
