About The Position

• Ability to work six weekend shifts in a six-week period

Description :

This position is for a Telemetry Nurse on night shifts.

The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients and providing care in a telemetry setting.

Ratios are 1 : 5-6, ensuring manageable workloads.

Candidates must have two years of experience in telemetry nursing.

First-time travelers are accepted for this role.

Certifications in BCLS and NIH are mandatory.

ACLS and CPI certifications are preferred but not required.

The nurse will need to manage and administer cardiac medications and drips, adhering to established protocols.

Healthcare workers are expected to maintain a professional appearance, including wearing navy scrubs.

There is no on-call requirement for this position.

The position may require floating within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and working weekends and holidays.

All nurses will complete an orientation to review unit protocols and procedures.

This role involves caring for adult patients in an acute care setting.

The daily census includes an average of 14 patients, with various cardiac diagnoses.

Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Additional responsibilities may include performing blood product administration and managing central lines.

Nurses should be equipped to interpret dysrhythmias and manage pacing devices.
