Substation P&C Electrical Engineer

Overview

Kimley-Horn's Orlando, Florida (FL) office is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer OR Engineer in Training with 2+ years of Substation Protection & Controls experience to join their Power Delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Support P&C design project deliverables, ranging from 4kV up to 500kV, with emphasis on 115kV and above.
• Produce detailed substation P&C design packages compliant with required client and national technical standards. Core design responsibilities include :
• One-line diagrams
• Three-line diagrams
• Potential and current schematics
• Control and indication schematics
• Communication interconnections
• Wiring diagrams
• Equipment sizing and specifications
• I / O mapping
• Construction documentation / outage sequencing
• Procurement and construction support
