What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives. Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and other personnel at the location. Assist with access control measures, including verifying identification and controlling entry or exit points as directed by site policies. Complete detailed reports regarding patrol activities, incidents, or other security-related matters as required by Allied Universal and the client. Minimum Requirements : A minimum of six months of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pepper spray certification is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
