Deputy General Counsel (Miami-Dade County)

Robert Half, on behalf of a global company, is recruiting a Deputy General Counsel to partner with senior leadership on commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters. This role is 100% on-site in Miami (Hours : 37.5 / week, 95 pm). Company provides a base salary up to $250,000, bonus, generous benefits, relocation, PTO and 401k match.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal guidance to business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (service agreements, reinsurance treaties, vendor agreements, corporate documents).
• Drive multi-jurisdictional compliance (U.S. and LATAM) for life / health lines, coordinate with regulators as appropriate.
• Monitor legal risk controls and support corporate / reinsurance initiatives, transactions, and governance.
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, Compliance, and Finance on corporate and employment matters.
• Mentor and collaborate with a legal team (attorney and paralegal).
