The Role : Senior Solutions Architect

We are looking for a skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our Pre-Sales Engineering Team in Pleasanton, CA. You will meet with customers, gather requirements for network, datacenter, security, data / AI, and collaboration projects, and develop engineering solutions for sale to Presidio customers. You will collaborate across sales, delivery, and operations teams while influencing internal teams and OEM relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
• Collect business and technical requirements.
• Complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs.
• Drive whiteboard conversations.
• Craft customer-facing presentations.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Generate hardware configurations (BoM).
• Write statements of work (SoW) and develop Professional Service pricing utilizing Presidio tools.
• Self-pace and self-set direction in a team environment to drive business.
• Work with Account Executive / Extended Sales Teams to develop customer relationships and solutions and assist in overall sales process.
• Maintain and develop technical and technology specific skill sets and certifications.
• Become the client’s “trusted advisor” and help drive their long-term technology strategy.
• Establish strong interpersonal relationships with the internal sales teams (Account Management, Business Development Managers).
