Job descriptionAccurately document patient information in the EMR as dictated by the provider. Complete documentation in real-time and in accordance with medical record standards. Perform clerical duties, including patient callbacks, form completion, billing assistance, and correspondence. Conduct patient intake, including vitals and history. Assist patients with mobility, exam preparation, and care coordination. Support the provider during patient calls and office procedures. Maintain accurate EMR and paper documentation. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety standards. Learn to operate a C-Arm machine under physician supervision. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Pain Medicine or Orthopedic Surgery. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, OSHA / HIPAA regulations, and EMR systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proven ability to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
SpineSearch is seeking an experienced and professional Medical Assistant to support clinical operations under the direction of Providers and Administration. This role assists with documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), ensures patient well-being, and promotes a positive, team-oriented environment. Pain medicine experience is preferred.
