Your role and responsibilities
As an Associate Partner within the Oracle practice, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, shaping market strategy, and leading delivery excellence across Oracle-based consulting engagements. You will help clients reimagine business processes enabled by Oracle technologies, while contributing to the expansion of IBM’s footprint in this critical solution area.
Client Leadership : Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping them define and achieve strategic goals through Oracle-enabled transformation.
Business Development : Lead sales pursuits and opportunity qualification, developing go-to-market strategies and contributing to the achievement of revenue and growth targets.
Strategic Partner Management : Strengthen IBM’s relationship with Oracle, identifying joint opportunities, aligning go-to-market priorities, and contributing to joint solution development.
Market and Practice Development : Shape thought leadership and solution offerings around Oracle technologies in HR, Finance, and other enterprise functions to position IBM as a market leader.
Engagement Oversight : Ensure successful delivery of Oracle-related projects, providing strategic direction, quality assurance, and executive-level client engagement.
Team Leadership : Mentor and develop consultants and managers within the Oracle practice, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Collaboration : Work across IBM Consulting’s industry and technology teams to integrate Oracle solutions within broader transformation programs leveraging hybrid cloud and AI capabilities.
This role can be based anywhere in the United States.
Required technical and professional expertise
Extensive experience in consulting, business development, or solution leadership with Oracle or equivalent enterprise platforms.
Proven record in leading large-scale technology-enabled transformation programs.
Deep understanding of Oracle applications and technologies, particularly in HR, Finance, or Financial Services domains.
Demonstrated success in building and managing executive-level client relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex engagements across geographies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Advanced degree in business, technology, or a related field.
Experience in managing P&L, portfolio growth, or practice development within a consulting organization.
Strong network within Oracle and the broader technology ecosystem.
Thought leadership or published insights on enterprise transformation using Oracle technologies.
