Akana is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to join our dynamic team! This is a full-time position, ideally for someone located on the west coast; or at the least in the PST Time Zone. Some in office hours may be required periodically.

As a Grant Writer you will be a professional who works to secure funding for Native American Tribal projects in the infrastructure, economic development, and natural resources areas.

What You'll Do :

• Write highly persuasive and competitive grant applications
• Manage multiple grant applications simultaneously, and independently plan workload to meet grant deadlines
• Work closely with senior managers and team members and follow Akana's grant preparation process
• Collaborate with Akana team members to advise and support clients throughout the grant preparation process
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with team members, clients, and funding agencies to ensure trust, alignment, and long-term success
