Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Oncology Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Imaging Center in Manhattan, NY. Job Function : Day Shift. 4x10. Performs therapeutic treatments and phlebotomy procedures. Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including inserting IV lines for contrast agents, administering sedatives, and managing patient comfort Monitoring vital signs, pre and post care for interventional exams. The RN is a member of a designated health care team and collaborates, coordinates and guides team members in planning patient care and achieving goals. Responsible for all unit enabling operations including patient flow, assignment, ordering and medical record prep. Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred). Valid registered nurse license for the state of New York State. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required. 2 years’ experience required. Oncology / Chemo Certification (preferred).
