Building Maintenance Technician II 2nd Shift

The Building Maintenance Technician II position, under limited supervision, performs with a high-level competency in at least one of the following fields : Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry.

This position is called upon to plan, troubleshoot, repair, and install new within his field of experience.

Job Duties :

• Performs high-level maintenance and repairs on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.
• Identifies and creates materials list and general planning required to complete job assignments.
• Troubleshoots problems and issues within their field of experience.
• Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations. Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in building.
• Responsible for the completion and accuracy of documentation related to assigned tasks.
• May be assigned tasks outside the scope of this job description.
