What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter trespassing and / or unauthorized access. Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and / or authorities. Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to those in the location.

Minimum Requirements : At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
