What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols relevant to the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter inappropriate behavior and / or unauthorized access. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter security-related risks within the healthcare location. Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Work collaboratively with on-site staff and emergency personnel as needed to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Complete required reports and documentation accurately following each shift or incident as required by Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements : At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
