As a Security Officer - Retail Foot Patrol in Newport Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location.

Communicate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
