The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Professional in a highly collaborative individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team. You will manage several supplier relationships necessary to support various programs for the factory material needs.

What You Will Do :

• Preparation and issuance of RFP's
• Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract
• Support negotiation strategies and support formal negotiations
• Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals
• Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
• Work closely with the Program and other functional groups to achieve objectives
• Maintain PO's to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information

The salary range for this role is $101,000 - $203,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
