Duties and Responsibilities
Hire and lead a team of hourly employees to support the business operation
Accomplish goals while focusing with utmost importance on Safety, maintaining high employee morale, and employee engagement
Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans
Drive daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer commitments
Develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy to improve safety, service, and quality, while reducing cycle times, costs, and in-process inventory levels
Lead improvement project initiatives with a Lean focus
Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional leadership team
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prior warehouse or manufacturing / leadership experience and training
Ability to build and lead a team through change
Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
Six Sigma or equivalent quality training
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work without direct supervision
Strong understanding of business processes in a service environment
Ability to manage contract resources
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Requires daily face-to-face interaction with employees on production line

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment
Annual salary, depending on experience $70,000 to $80,000
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between $60,700.00-$83,400.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as : training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
