Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for new facility and facility improvement projects.
• Oversee all phases of construction projects, including site preparation, structural work, MEP installations, and final inspections.
• Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
• Resolve conflicts and facilitate clear communication between contractors and internal teams.
• Provide proactive onsite supervision throughout the construction phase, ensuring contractor compliance with project plans, safety standards, quality requirements, and schedule milestones.
• Prepare and submit permit applications; coordinate with city planning and development departments to ensure compliance with local codes and ordinances.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, contractors, architects, engineers, and city officials.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and inspection reports.
• Prepare and present project status reports to upper management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes (IBC, NEC, IMC, IPC, IFC) and OSHA standards.
• Support Industrial Engineering activities such as layout design, analysis, creating SOPs as needed.
