Work Hours : Partial Telework flexibility may be available and considered.

Relocation Compensation : May be available and considered.

Salary : $5,643.00 - $7,589.00 Monthly

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has an exciting opportunity within our Product Sales and Leasing Division as the agency-wide expert in timber sale and log marketing. This position ensures the program efficiently provides accurate information for appraising and marketing timber sales intended for public auction. This position provides timber sale appraisal values for establishing minimum bid amounts while maintaining direct communication with the purchasing community. Responsibilities include developing timber sale program marketing goals and objectives, timelines, tools for accomplishing those goals, and evaluating the marketing program's effectiveness.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze market trends and explore ways to enhance revenue through new marketing initiatives. Responsible for creating annual marketing tools to identify optimal sale auction timing.
• Lead appraisal and oversee timber sale appraisal for all Board and Region timber sales.
• Oversee the DNR's cruising program.
• Provide supervision as required.
