What You'll Do

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential incidents.

Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or incidents according to Allied Universal policies.

Assist authorized personnel and visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries as needed.

Collaborate with public agencies and / or emergency responders as required during incidents or emergencies.

Remain alert and attentive while performing patrols to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack may be present at this location; preference will be given to candidates comfortable with these conditions.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
