About the Role
The Company is seeking a Divisional Vice President for Annuity Wholesaling. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling annuity products through a broker / dealer or other assigned distribution network. This role involves working from a home office, covering a specific territory, and requires travel to conduct office presentations and one-on-one meetings with registered representatives. The Divisional Vice President will also be expected to participate in firm or broker / dealer sponsored meetings, provide public seminars for investors, and build strong relationships within the territory to maximize performance and increase sales.
Applicants for the Divisional Vice President position must have a proven aptitude in financial services or related experience, with a minimum of 3 years' successful outside sales experience in a territory management role. The role demands an adept public speaker with the ability to meet sales quotas with little or no supervision. A BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience is required, along with the necessary FINRA licenses (Series 6 or 7 and 63) and a Virginia Life and Health license. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a recognized expert in the industry, and capable of establishing a professional selling process. Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with an internal wholesaling partner are also essential.
